The Youth Art Gallery (YAG) is a traveling art gallery based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our primary focus is on the curation and exhibition of art, with a special emphasis on youth art. Our non-profit operates through physical locations around Washtenaw county and is currently staffed by two dedicated employees. We cater to three main customer segments: college students, parents, and teenagers. Our portfolio of services includes an artist mentorship program, art workshops, art exhibit events, collaborative art projects, and fine art sales. The purpose of our business is to inspire creativity, foster talent, encourage community building, and provide a platform for young artists to showcase their work.
The idea for The Youth Art Gallery (YAG) stemmed from the recognition of a need for a supportive, welcoming space where young artists could learn, grow, and express themselves. We also identified a lack of platforms for these artists to showcase their work to the local community. The Youth Art Gallery (YAG) was conceived to fill this gap and provide a space where art is accessible, celebrated, and shared.
We focus on youth art and our commitment to fostering a sense of community and connection among our participants. We provide a welcoming and supportive space for artists to learn and grow through our mentorship programs and workshops. Additionally, we offer unique and engaging art exhibit events that showcase the creative talents of young artists in our community. Our collaborative art projects and fine art sales further contribute to community building and connection.
